Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds & Picks: The Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos close out week three of the NFL preseason tonight with a clash at Mile High Stadium. The exhibition showdown is scheduled to get underway at 8:00pm ET on FOX. 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds & Picks at online sportsbook BetUS.com have Pittsburgh listed as a -2.5 against the spread road favorite; the Over/Under in this evening's contest is set at 37.5.

The Steelers improved to 2-0 in preseason play last Saturday with a 24-17 win over the Giants at the New Meadowlands Pittsburgh Steelers vs Denver Broncos 2010 NFL Predictions, Odds & PicksStadium. Pittsburgh built a 10-7 lead before the break thanks to a 68 yard touchdown hookup between quarterback Byron Leftwich and wideout Mike Wallace.

Leftwich and fellow backup Dennis Dixon both played well in a bid to earn the starting spot while Ben Roethlisberger serves a suspension to start the season. Leftwich finished the night with 95 yards and the aforementioned score while Dixon, who will get the start tonight against the Broncos, completed 7-of-8 passes for 82 yards. Roethlisberger, who did not play in the team's week one win over the Lions, had the worst night of the trio, throwing for 76 yards and a pick on eight pass attempts.

Pittsburgh's offense finished the game with 23 first downs and 412 total yards, 161 of which came on the ground. The Steelers also converted six of their 12 third down opportunities in the win.

The injury riddled Broncos fell to 0-2 last weekend with a 20-25 loss to the Lions at Invesco Field. Denver's offense put up 339 yards behind a strong outing from quarterback Kyle Orton, who completed 16-of-22 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns (one interception). Wide receivers Jabar Gaffney and Eric Decker, a rookie out of Minnesota, had big nights as well, combining for 11 catches and 164 yards.

Denver's defense left much to be desired, though, as Detroit produced 23 first downs and 392 total yards. Lions rookie Jahvid Best led the team to a 151 yard night on the ground, carrying the ball eight times for 49 yards.

Despite the loss, Denver did get some good news this week. All-Pro left tackle Ryan Clady returned to practice for the first time since tearing his left patella tendon in a pickup basketball game this winter. Rookie signal caller Tim Tebow also returned to the field; Tebow had missed over a week of practice after suffering bruised ribs in the team's week one loss to the Bengals.

2010 NFL Preseason Betting Trend: The Steelers are 12-3 straight up in the preseason under Head Coach Mike Tomlin.
