Bears vs Browns Lines 2010 NFL Preseason Week 4: The Chicago Bears will try to win at least one preseason game when they take the Cleveland Browns this Thursday at 8 PM ET. The Bears vs. Browns NFL Betting Point Spread have the Bears at -3 at SPORTSBOOK.com
The Bears have failed to win in this preseason losing against the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals but also looking pretty doll at times. The Bears biggest concern is Jay Cutler develop as the starting QB, who is now on his second year with the team; he threw for two interceptions last week in the loss 14-9 against the Cardinals and looked like the 2009 version. In fact Cutler not only made those mistakes but also looked pretty erratic overall only completing 10 of 20 throws for 129 yards.
For the Browns the story has been a little bit different because they now have three QBs looking to become the starter for the season. Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace won't play against the Bears so Colt McCoy will get extended snaps against Chicago. Through three preseason games, McCoy has completed 15-of-26 passes for 101 yards with two interceptions and will share time on the field with the four year QB Brett Ratliff.
Even though it can be difficult to let go of mistakes, McCoy will try to play mistake free football on Thursday letting the home crowd knows they now have a franchise QB when they watch number 12. The Browns dropped the last two preseason games against the Lions and the St. Louis Rams but they expect to end this stage with a victory before entering the regular season.
Right now is unlikely for me to think that any Bears QB is a reliable one, I rather give the opportunity to a young home team than a mistake machine like Chicago. Bet the Browns on his one.
