Cleveland fell to 1-2 in preseason action after losing to the Lions 35-27 at Detroit last weekend. Despite the loss, the Browns offensive starters were impressive, as they posted 24 first half points. Jake Delhomme continued his exceptional exhibition season, completing 20-of-25 for 152 yards and one touchdown.
While Cleveland's defense gave up 22 first downs and 347 total yards, rookies Joe Haden and TJ Ward both turned in notable performances. The pair combined for 10 tackles and one pass defended in the loss.
