Tennessee fell to 1-2 in preseason action last week as it followed up its 24-10 thrashing of Arizona with a 15-7 loss at Carolina. The Titans offense played horribly in the setback as Chris Johnson produced a meager 10 yards in eight carries and the team totaled just 217 yards for the game.
Jeff Fisher did get a respectable effort out of his defense as the Panthers tallied 13 first downs and averaged a dismal 2.6 yards per carry. Rookie corner Alterraun Verner continued his impressive preseason, leading the team in tackles with six in the loss to Carolina.
