Kansas City Chiefs vs Baltimore Ravens NFL Picks, NFL Odds & NFL Predictions:This game might be labeled the biggest mismatch of the weekend as the Ravens come into the season looking to win a division championship while the Chiefs are just looking to get a win. However, this is the NFL and stranger things have happened. That is why they play the games. Kickoff in this potential stinker is set for 1:00pm ET at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. NFL Picks at Sportsbook.com have the visiting Chiefs listed as a +13 against the spread road dog.Kansas City Chiefs vs Baltimore Ravens NFL Picks, Odds & Predictions

Chiefs Breakdown: Kansas City enters this ball game and season with a new coaching staff and a retooled roster. A good number of players are gone from the team that scraped together six wins over the last two seasons. Although anybody who watched the Chiefs this preseason would suggest those players are still in uniform.

New Head Coach Todd Haley did not have the kind of exhibition season he had hoped, going 0-4 in his first dance. However, the staff did have a great deal of evaluating to do and played a number of different players in different situations as a result. One would expect to see a more refined, polished group today against Baltimore, particularly if new quarterback Matt Cassel is able to play (sprained knee). And by season's end, one can assume that this group will not look anything close to Herm Edward's Chiefs.

Ravens Breakdown: Baltimore's first team offense and defense looked nearly flawless this preseason, which should put a scare into the rest of the AFC North, Pittsburgh included. Quarterback Joe Flacco looks to have none of the second year jitters that plague so many NFL quarterbacks as he completed exhibition play in top form.

It would appear that the Ravens offense, under Flacco's driection, might be ready to match the defense's perennial prowess. But did they wait too long to do it? Despite last season's great number, the defense is now without coordinator Rex Ryan and is switching to a different scheme. Also, in bird terms, the unit is no spring chicken.

Today might not reveal any chinks in the armour, but next weekend's trip to San Diego will be more telling.
