The Eagles (1-0) pummeled the St.Louis Rams 38-3 during their home opener in Week 1. QB Donovan McNabb is healthy and it showed. He made 21 of 33 passes for 361 yards with three touchdown passes. RB Brian Westbrook was the top rusher on the day with 19 carries, two catches, for 91 yards along with two touchdowns, but one fumble. Their receiving core had three receivers finish with over 100 yards. WR DeSean Jackson had six catches for 106 yards, WR Greg Lewis had five catches for 104 yards and WR Hank Basket had 2 catches for 102 yards with one touchdown. The Eagles offense finished ranked 1st in the league with 522 total yards, ranked 1st with 414 passing yards, but their running game was average with a 18th ranked 108 rushing yards. On defense the Eagles were absolutely dominant; they didn’t give up a point until the fourth quarter. They allowed a 2nd ranked 166 total yards, a 7th ranked 166 pas yards and a 1st ranked 36 rushing yards. The Eagles run defense, though looked very good last week as it held three-time 1,000-yard rusher Steven Jackson to 40 yards on 14 attempts. The Eagles are 3-0 against the Cowboys in Dallas.

The Cowboys (1-0) got past the Cleveland Browns 28-10 during their first road game of the season. QB Tony Romo took off where he started last year. He made 24 of 32 passes for 320 yards with one touchdown pass, but he had one interception. RB Marion Barber was their top rusher with 16 carries for 80 yards with two touchdowns and RB Felix Jones had nine carries for 82 yards with one touchdown. TE Jason Witten was their top receiver with six catches for 96 yards, this guy’s money in the bank, while WR Terrell Owens had five catches for 87 yards with one touchdown. Their offense recorded a 2nd ranked 487 total yards, 2nd ranked 320 pass yards and a 6th ranked 167 rushing yards. On defense they gave up a 4th ranked 205 total yards, 2nd ranked 114 pass yards and a 10th ranked 91 rushing yards. Owens and Romo have been held in check in Philadelphia's last two visits to Dallas. Romo had a 32.6 quarterback rating in those games and Owens accounted for just four catches for 60 yards while scoring the Cowboys' only touchdown as the team was limited to a combined 13 points.
