Peyton Manning looked superb against the Saints in the opener, completing 18 of 30 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Joseph Addai ran for 188 yards and had a score in the Colts rout. The Colts defense held the Saints to just 106 rushing yards and no TD’s. The only touchdown the Colts allowed came on a 55-yard fumble return. The Colts defense will get a stern test from a Titans offense that ran all over Jacksonville in the opener. They had 282 yards on the ground – second-most in franchise history. Chris Brown ran for a career-high 175 yards. "Our plan for the last couple of weeks was to establish the run because the run game was going to be the difference for our offense," coach Jeff Fisher said. "Last year we had four 200-yard rushing performances and it was nice to start right off the bat with another one." Two of those games came against the Colts last season. Tennessee had a season-high 219 rushing yards in a 20-17 win over the Colts last year. "As we've shown, one way of effectively playing the Colts is keeping their offense off the field,' Fisher said, "to do that, you have to hand the ball off.”
