Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals 2010 NFL Predictions, 2010 NFL Picks & 2010 NFL Odds: AFC North rivals Baltimore and Cincinnati will lock horns this afternoon at Paul Brown Stadium in the great state of Ohio. The rivlary scrap is scheduled to get underway at 1:00pm ET on CBS. 2010 NFL Predictions, Picks & Odds at BetUS.com have the Ravens listed as a -2 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 39.5.
Baltimore dominated the Jets offense at the New Meadowlands Stadium on Monday night, holding New York to 176 total
yards in the 10-9 win. The Jets managed just six first downs on the night and averaged pathetic 2.9 yards per pass as Mark Sanchez completed 10-of-21 passes for 74 yards.
The Ravens offense did not light things up against the league's top ranked defense, but Joe Flacco and company did enough procure a victory. Flacco completed just 20-of-38 passes for 248 yards and a pick; however, the team converted 11-of-19 on third down, which led to a 17 minute time of possession advantage.
Cincinnati dropped its season opener, despite some guady passing statistics, 38-24 to the Patriots in Foxboro. The Bengals, which saw New England return a pick as well as a kickoff for a touchdown last Sunday, gave up 20 first downs and 376 yards to the Pats.
The offense, scrambling to come back from a 24-3 halftime deficit, fared far better, finishing the game with 26 first downs and 428 total yards. Carson Palmer completed 34-of-50 passes for 345 yards, two touchdowns, and the aforementioned interception while Chad Ochocinco evoked the days of Chad Johnson as he snagged 12 receptions for 159 yards and a score. His new cohorts, Jordon Shipley, Jermaine Gresham, and Terrell Owens, also played well, combining for 18 catches, 160 yards, and one score.
The Bengals have dominated this series at Paul Brown Stadium of late, winning four of the last five there by an average of nine points. Cincinnati beat Baltimore 17-7 last year at home after out-gaining the Ravens by 154 yards.
2010 NFL Predictions Betting Trend: The Bengals are 2-8 straight up and 2-7-1 against the spread in their last 10 games as a home dog with a spread between 0 and 3.5 and a total between 37 and 41.
