NFL Week 3 Predictions

by Matt Foust on Monday, September 21st, 2009

NFL Week 3 Predictions: The Colts and Dolphins will cap off an exciting week 2 of NFL action when they meet tonight at Land Shark Stadium in Miami. Yesterday provided some nail-biters, book-busting upsets, and a couple of blowout specials. This week's schedule also features several juicy pairings that have the potential to make for another memorable Sunday. For the latest NFL Week 3 Predictions lines visit online sportsbook SBGglobal.com today.

San Francisco vs Minnesota (-7): The Vikings are a touchdown favorite NFL Week 3 Predictionsat home in this NFC tussle and with good reason. Minnesota destroyed the Browns and the Lions on the road in weeks one and two, doing what good teams are suppose to do to bottom feeders. They now return to Minneapolis for their regular season home opener in what is certain to be a fever pitch Metrodome. The Brett Favre love fest will be in full swing as fans clamour to praise the quarterback for the way he hands the ball off to Adrian Peterson.

Can the Forty-Niners spoil this homecoming parade? It will be a perfect opportunity for Mike Singletary's squad to earn the 'for real' label. Bumper stickers and t-shirts are in the planning stages after the Niners spanking of the Seahawks at Candlestick yesterday. If they can sink the Vikings, the paraphernalia will go into production.

Atlanta Falcons vs New England Patriots (-4): The Falcons are working diligently to prove that last year was no fluke, and their efforts have been successful thus far. Atlanta is 2-0 after beating Miami and Carolina rather handily at the Georgia Dome; however, a stop in New England will be their biggest test to date. The Falcons can bank on a fired up Patriots squad after the latter's stinging defeat at the Meadowlands. Bill Belichick's team will also be anxious to prove to themselves, and the league, that they are still a Super Bowl favorite. The Pats performance against the Bills in week one and their ugly loss to the Jets has raised more than a few red flags. People are starting to wonder if Tom Brady might be human after all.
