The are some big questions heading into NFL week 4 predictions, and many of them revolve around a recent rash of injuries that seem to be plaguing certain teams. Can the Saints offense continue to flourish without Marques Colston and Jeremy Shockey? Can the Packers defense holdup with cornerback Al Harris and safety Atari Bigby sitting out? And can the Redskins get pressure on Tony Romo without Jason Taylor on the field?
Here are some of the big NFL Week 4 Predictions match-ups at Sportsbook.com:
Minnesota Vikings @ Tennessee Titans (-3): This should be a great match-up between two powerhouse defenses. The Vikings finally got off the snide last week against a tough Panthers team and they will need a similar effort to hang with Tennessee in Nashville. The Titans look to be a complete team in the early going, and their physical style of play seems to have teams warn out by the fourth quarter.
Green Bay Packers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1): Green Bay returned struggled to run the ball Sunday night agains the Cowboys and they have to be concerned about that heading into their tilt with the Bucs. If they don't get things working on the ground, teams are going to start putting a lot of heat on Rodgers. Tampa Bay had a great comeback win with Brian Griese at the helm, but he will need to reduce the turnovers if they are to remain atop the division.
Washington Redskins @ Dallas Cowboys (-11.5): The Redskins rebounded nicely from an opening weekend loss to the Giants to win two games in a row. Jim Zorn's offense quickly turned the corner and Jason Campbell has looked great running the show. They will have a huge challenge this week though, having to face a high flying Cowboys team in Dallas.
San Francisco 49ers @ New Orleans Saints (-6): The 49ers are a surprising 2-1 and their offense seems to be getting things corrected under coordinator Mike Martz. With Seattle being bit by injuries and St. Louis tanking, the 49ers have to feel good about their chances to challenge for the division title out west. The Saints are sitting at 1-2 but they have been impressive on offense. They will need their defense to step up with all the skill positions injuries on offense.
