The Bears (1-1) beat Pittsburgh 17-14 at home in Week 2. QB Jay Cutler looked more like the Pro Bowl-caliber player the team traded for in the offseason. He made 27 of 38 passes for 236 yards with two TD’s. During the eight-play, game-winning drive, Cutler completed all four of his passes to set up a field goal with 11 seconds left to get the win. Their top RB Matt Forte had 13 carries for 29 yards, while WR Johnny Knox had six catches for 70 yards with a TD. The Bears 17 first downs, 13 by passing, two by rushing and made 7 of 14 third down conversions. The Bears' second-year RB Matt Forte has had a very quiet start to the season, gaining just 84 yards on 38 rushes. Once he watches the tape of last week, when Niners RB Frank Gore shredded the Seahawks for 207 yards on 16 carries, Matt Forte will no doubt be confident he can have his breakout game this Sunday. On defense the Bears are fifth best in total yards allowed and eighth against the pass.

The Seahawks (1-1) lost in San Francisco 10-23 in Week 2. QB Matt Hasselbeck left the game at the end of the second quarter with bruised ribs and did not return. Hasselbeck hasn’t been ruled out for their tilt against the Bears. Back-up QB Seneca Wallace made 15 of 23 passes for 127 yards with a TD. Their top RB Justin Forsett had five carries for a low 35 yards, while WR T.J. Houshmanzadeh made four catches for 62 yards and is listed as questionable on Sunday. The Seahawks were completely dominated on the ground allowing 256 yards rushing while rushing for 66 yards. The Seahawks offense generated 23 first downs, 12 by passing, 10 by rushing and made 6 of 12 third down conversions. Seattle's offense changes significantly with Wallace under center. While Hasselbeck is more of a traditional drop-back passer, Wallace tends to scramble and use his legs to make plays, just as long as their O-line can keep him safe. The Hawks on defense are fourth against the pass, but a miserable 26th against the rush. Seahawks DE Patrick Kerney tied his career high with three sacks in his last game against Chicago. The Seahawks have the loudest fans which cause delay of game penalties for their opponents, they have the 12th man advantage.
