The Saints (2-0) won in Philadelphia 48-22 in Week 2. QB Drew Brees kept up his hot start to the season with three more touchdown passes after making 25 of 634 passes for 311 yards.  RB Mike Bell left the game in the fourth quarter with an injury, but not before 17 carries for 86 yards with a TD. Their top WR Marques Colston is now fully healthy and is back to torching defensive backs. He made two impressive touchdown catches and finished with eight receptions for 98 yards. The Saints offense generated 23 first downs, 15 by passing, eight by rushing and made 6 of 13 third down conversions. Pro Bowl QB Drew Brees has nine TD passes already this season and has looked nearly unstoppable through the first two weeks. He is using a variety of targets (he has completed passes to 10 different receivers) and now he gets to face a Buffalo team that ranks 31st against the pass. The Saints are the first team since 1968 to score 45-plus points in their first two games, while Drew Brees' nine touchdown passes are tied for the most ever through the first two games. Safety Darren Sharper already has a fourth-quarter pick in each of the first two games and will be ready to make that three in a row if the Bills are trailing late and Trent Edwards is forced to pass the ball down the stretch.

The Bills (1-1) beat Tampa Bay 33-20 at home in Week 2. QB Trent Edwards made 21 of 31 passes for 230 yards with two TD’s. WR Terrell Owens scored his first touchdown in a Bills uniform; he had three catches for 52 yards. Bills RB Fred Jackson is quietly making a name for himself as a legitimate starting threat while Marshawn Lynch serves a three-game suspension. He ran for a career-high 163 yards on 28 carries and added six catches for 25 yards. The Bills offense generated 25 first downs, 13 by passing, eight by rushing and made 4 of 12 third down conversions. In addition to Fred Jackson 220 rushing yards, he has also compiled 108 receiving yards this season. Jackson is getting so much playing time because Marshawn Lynch has been suspended and Lynch will be out again this weekend. Look for Jackson to get plenty of touches as the Bills try to control the clock and keep the Saints' explosive offense off the field. The Saints offense is first in total yards gained, second in passing yards and first in points scored. Their defense is fifth against the rush and 31st against the pass.
