After suffering a concussion that forced him out of last week’s loss to the Falcons, Vick was listed as questionable for Sunday. But after undergoing a series of concussion tests, No.7 was finally cleared by doctors to practice on Thursday. With two practices under his belt, Vick has stated that he’ll be ready to go when the Eagles make their home debut against the G-Men.
“There’s no reason to think that I won’t play on Sunday,” he said. “I’ve had two good days of practice. I’m optimistic I’ll be able to go out there and very excited to play.”

With Vick clear to play, Philly will go into Sunday’s game as a 9-point favorites over the struggling Giants. Obviously, Philly’s chances of winning this game rest solely on Vick ability to play to the best of his abilities. Vick was removed during the third quarter of Sunday night’s game at Atlanta after banging his head while being taken down. Replaced by second year man, Mike Kafka, the Eagles would go on to lose that game, 31-35.
