Houston Texans Quarterback Matt Schaub gets to visit his old team this week when he leads his team into Atlanta to face the Falcons. Currently the early lines at BetUS.com has the Houston texans as a 3 point favorite against the Falcons
The Falcons might have a little regret when Schaub takes the field against them after they let him go only to watch Matt post a 100.9 passer rating while they are stuck with the erratic Joey Harrington. Last week the Falcons Harrington had a great game throwing the ball for 361 yards only to come up short 20-27 to the Carolina Panthers as +4.5 underdogs on the road.
In that game the Falcons were hurt by CB DeAngelo Hall losing his cool and costing the team 67 yards worth of penalties which aided the Panthers to victory. Hall lost his temper on the sidelines and was fined by head coach Bobby Petrino $100,000 for his actions and could possibly be suspended for this game. Hall and Petrino are not on the same page and despite the fact that DeAngelo is one of the best cover corners in the NFL he could be a cancer in the lockeroom.
Houston meanwhile has gotten off to a hot start with a 2-1 SU record and 3-0 ATS. Houston almost pulled off an upset last week against the Colts before losing 24-30 as +6.5 dogs. Houston having a winning record isn't encouraging for an Atlanta team that is 3-9 ATS vs teams with winning records.
Houston however will be without the best player on their team WR Andre Johnson who is still on the shelf with a knee injury. The running game for both teams has also been poor and the team that can get their ground game cranking should have the leg up in this close match-up. EinsteinPicks has a stance on this game that will earn you big bucks.
