NFL Week 4 Picks NFL Week 4 Picks on the New York Jets (2-1) vs Baltimore Ravens (2-1) – The Jets lost in Oakland 24-34, in Week 3. QB Mark Sanchez completed 27 of 43 passes for a career-high 369 yards. The Raiders overpowered the Jets like no other team has since coach Rex Ryan brought his brash style to New York two years ago.

The Ravens got a 37-7 road win over the defenseless St. Louis Rams, in Week 3. The Ravens got back on their game and then some. The had a 406-yard first half that fueled a 27-point cushion, and the game total of 553 yards, were both bests for the franchise. Baltimore also sacked Sam Bradford five times. QB Joe Flacco was 27 of 48 for a career-high 389 yards, 192 more than last week, with three touchdowns.

The Jets 10th ranked pass game (278ypg) goes up against the Ravens 17th ranked pass rush (245ypg). But, their 25th ranked ground game (82ypg) won’t get far against the Ravens 6th ranked rush defense (84ypg). The Ravens 8th ranked ground game (127ypg) will definitely move the chains against the Jets 31st ranked rush defense.

NFL Week 4 Picks on the New England Patriots (2-1) vs Oakland Raiders (2-1) – The Patriots lost in Buffalo 31-34, in Week 3. QB Tom Brady went 30 of 45 for 386 yards and four scores for New England. Despite setting a league record for most yards passing over a three-game stretch, Brady matched a career worst with four interceptions.

The Raiders bullied the two-time defending AFC runners-up on the ground to win their home opener 34-24 over the New York Jets in Week 3. QB Jason Campbell was 18 for 27 passing for 156 yards, but the Raiders won this game on the ground, putting up the most yards rushing (234), most rushing touchdowns and the third-most points in a game against the Ryan-led Jets. RB Darren McFadden had 19 carries for 171 yards with two touchdowns.

The Raiders league best running game (185ypg) goes up against the Patriots 11th ranked rush defense (91.7ypg). Unfortunately the Raiders 28th pass rush (289ypg) will be picked apart by the Patriots league best pass game (437ypg). The Pats defense is the worst in league (377ypg) and the Raiders 26th ranked pass game (190ypg) should be able to get some passes in.
