ittsburgh (2-1) got a 23-20 road win over the Indianapolis Colts, in Week 3. Shaun Suisham kicked a 38-yard field goal with 4 seconds left Sunday night to give the Steelers the ugly win. QB Ben Roethlisberger was 25 of 37 for 364 yards with one touchdown, but lost two fumbles and threw an interception. WR Mike Wallace caught five passes for 144 yards and an 81-yard score, the longest of his career. Will the Steelers have enough offensive lineman to protect Ben Roethlisberger? The Steelers head to Houston having escaped Indy with a win and who would have thought that would be so difficult? Obviously losing three starters on the offensive line played into that as the Colts defence was relentless. There won’t be much let-up in the Texans who are coming off the first loss of their season.
Houston (2-1) lost in New Orleans to the Saints 33-40, in Week 3. QB Matt Schaub passed for 373 yards and three TDs, as the Texans' prolific offense moved the ball well for most of the game, but they were doomed in the end by four drives inside the 20 that resulted in only field goals. WR Andre Johnson had seven catches for 128 yards and TE James Casey finished with five receptions for 126, including a 62-yarder to set up Houston's first TD. Casey set a team record for yards receiving by a back. Steve Slaton had 102 yards on six catches in 2009. Casey also produced a 2011 NFL best for yards receiving by a back. The previous best was 117 by Chicago's Matt Forte the Jets' LaDainian Tomlinson (116) and Carolina's Jonathan Stewart (100) are the only other backs to reach triple digits. The Texans will be the toughest competition Pittsburgh has faced since they were trounced in Week 1 by the Baltimore Ravens. The Texans have been getting by without Arian Foster for the most part but eventually he’s going to return. The Steelers might be the first to find out what kind of impact that will have.
