This week things won't get any easier for Bulger with star running back Steven Jackson on the sideline with a groin injury. Jackson's replacement, Brian Leonard is a 235 Lb. rookie with soft hands but he is unproven and will be tested against Dallas's fast 3-4 D.
Dallas RB Marion Barber has been ripping up defenses averaging 6.4 yards per carry and 4 TD's. The Rams have been vulnerable against the run and if they can't find a way to stop Barber they could be in trouble. One mismatch that the Rams have in their favor is WR's Torry Holt and Issac Bruce against a Cowboys secondary that will be missing their best cover man CB Terrance Newman with a knee injury. Bulger has a depleted O-line that has been unable to protect him but if he can find time to throw he could do some damage. Dallas has been tough on weaker teams posting a 6-2 ATS record against teams with a losing record.
