NFL Week 4 Point Spreads: It is not too often that week 4 becomes do or die time for an NFL squad, but there are a number of teams with post-season aspirations that are going to be desperate come Sunday. Three teams (Titans, Panthers, and Dolphins) that won their respective divisions a year ago have yet to garner a 2009 victory. Carolina has the weekend off to think about their predicament while the Titans and Dolphins battle division rivals. For the latest NFL Week 4 Point Spreads on these critical matchups and the entire weekend of NFL action, visit Sportsbetting.com today. Tennessee Titans: The Titans do not fit the mold of a 0-3 team, but nevertheless, that is where Jeff Fisher's club finds itself. Miami Dolphins: The pain from Miami's 0-3 start was compounded earlier this week when the club found out its starting quarterback, Chad Pennington, will be out for the season with an injured shoulder. The Dolphins situation, injury aside, is quite similar to the Titans as they too are fighting some ball security issues. Miami is an even worse -6 in turnover margin, which has ruined a time of possession advantage that exceeds an average of 11 minutes per game. Tony Sparano's team is also averaging over 95 more rush yards per game than their opposition. However, team's are passing for an average of 264.6 yards per game against the Fins defense, exploiting a secondary that clearly has some issues. It would seem that the Dolphins season is over almost before it began. Tennessee lost a hard fought game against the defending Super Bowl champs, at their place, to open the season, and followed that up with a puke job at home versus the Texans. The latest slip up occurred in New York against the undefeated Jets as they fell 17-24 to Rex Ryan's squad. Tennessee had four turnovers in that game and is -3 in turnover margin on the season. Their ball security issues have led to their opposition holding the ball an average of 7:04 longer per game. If they can start protecting the rock, their fortunes could turn quickly, especially considering the fact that the Titans are out rushing their competition by an average of 90.4 yards per game.
