The Patriots (2-1) beat Buffalo 38-30 at home last week. QB Tom Brady made 21 of 27 passes for 252 yards with three TD’s. RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis had 16 carries for 98 yards with a TD, while Danny Woodhead had three for 42 yards and a TD. WR Rob Gronkowski and Randy Moss each added a TD. Coach Bill Belichick is 4-6 SU on the road against the Dolphins since he became coach of the New England Patriots in 2000. Brady is 3-5 SU. Brady has had some of his most difficult days against Miami, including a 21-0 loss in 2006 in which he completed 12 of 25 passes for 78 yards with four sacks. Last season, he threw two interceptions in the fourth quarter and Miami rallied for a 22-21 win."It's always tough to play down there," Belichick said. "They give you a lot to get ready for." Belichick said he expects a good dose of Miami's wildcat offense, even though it stalled much of the time in a 31-23 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday. "I think it's still there, and every team's going to see it. Probably depending on how well you do or don't do against it."

The Dolphins (2-1) lost to the Jets, at home. QB Chad Henne had a huge night with completing 26 of 44 passes for 363 yards with two TD’s and an interception. RB’s Ronnie Brown ran for only 54 yards, and Ricky Williams was held to 28. One of the appealing characteristics of this year’s Miami Dolphins defense is the speed and athleticism on display at all three levels – defensive line, linebackers and secondary . Modern day tight ends tend to test that aspect. In the last two games, the Dolphins have been challenged a bit by a pair of big and athletic tight ends in Minnesota’s Visanthe Shiancoe and Dustin Keller of the New York Jets. Shiancoe caught six passes for 86 yards but was kept out of the end zone in a 14-10 victory for Miami and Keller reeled in six passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns. He was held without a catch in the second half as Miami mounted a comeback, but what he did in the first half will be scrutinized on film by the upcoming opponents. The New England Patriots feature two rookie tight ends that are performing at a high level – Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski. So the Dolphins defense will be preparing hard this week to try and slow them down
