Washington Redskins @ Philadelphia Eagles (-5.5):
The Philadelphia Eagles looked like world beaters in their first three games, despite their road loss to the Cowboys. However, on Sunday night in Chicago they looked mistake prone and inconsistent on offense without Brian Westbrook in the lineup. It will be interesting to see how they respond to a surging Redskins club. New coach Jim Zorn has his team playing sound football both offensively and defensively. Washington will need to step up again this week for another difficult division road game.
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Jacksonville Jaguars (-4):
The last two weeks, the Steelers have had some major issues on offense. Granted, they were going against two of the better defenses in the league (Philadelphia and Baltimore), but they could not protect Ben Roethlisberger at all. Now they will take to the road after a close Monday win over the Ravens to face the Jaguars in Jacksonville. They will be doing so without running backs WIllie Parker (knee sprain),Rashard Mendenhall (broken shoulder – out for season, and guard Kendall Simmons (torn achilles – out for season).
Minnesota Vikings @ New Orleans Saints (-3):
All the off season talk indicated that the Vikings were suppose to be one of the best teams in the league, but their 1-3 start would say otherwise. Minnesota has had a difficult road to hoe in the early going, but the best teams find a way to win regardless of who the opponent might be. Things do not get any easier for Brad Childress' team this week when they travel to New Orleans for a Monday night showdown with Drew Brees and the high flying Saints.
