NFL Predictions Week 4: Despite all the fuzz and all the hoopla surrounding the Detroit Lions’ 3-0 start, the (2-1) Dallas Cowboys will put an end to all that nonsense this afternoon when the two teams meet at Cowboys Stadium. Going into this NFL Predictions Week 4, NFL Point Spreads experts have listed the Boys [-2½] as the betting favorites over the visiting Lions [+2½].
This game’s opening kickoff is scheduled for 1 PM ET and the projected OVER/UNDER line for the Lions and Cowboys is set at a combined total of 46 points scored. While these teams prepare to battle each other, it seems that Rex Ryan’s loudmouth style has rubbed off on his brother, Rob.
The longhaired twin brother has been making some eccentric comments this week and the media was there to capture it all. People seem to be paying more attention to the subtler of the Ryan brothers than ever before, ever since he became Dallas’ new defensive coordinator. As the Cowboys prepare for the Lions, Ryan was obviously asked about his thoughts on Calvin Johnson, aka Megatron.
With 16 receptions for 225 yards, 6 touchdowns in just three games and a nickname like that, Johnson has become the talk of the town this season. When asked if the evil Transformer was going to cause problems for his defense on Sunday, Rob sounded off in true Ryan fashion:
"We work against better receivers with Miles Austin and Dez Bryant,” he said. “They are probably two of the premier receivers in football, but this guy is right there. He's almost that good. He's excellent.
“I know he's on some touchdown thing like that, whatever,” he said. “[Lions offensive coordinator] Scott Linehan has done this before with great receivers with Randy Moss. If the guy is as good as Randy Moss I'm going to go in there and hide. Thank God he's not, but he's a pretty [expletive] good player."
My NFL Predictions Week 4 for the Lions vs Cowboys: It’s too bad that the Lions magical start has to come to an end. Taking into account all the losing season Detroit has endured over the last several years, it must have been fun. But let’s face it: the Lions are not ready to neither rule their Division nor be one of the elite teams in the league… they’re just not there yet. If you’re a Lions fan, then you probably hate me right now! Nevertheless, I like the Cowboys by a field goal this afternoon… Get $50 in Free NFL Picks Here!
