Bengals Breakdown: Cincinnati got the season started on a sour not with an ugly, mistake riddled loss at New England, but 
the Bengals recovered from that setback with wins over the Ravens and Panthers.
Marvin Lewis' troops had their way in Carolina last weekend scoring a 20-7 victory after holding the Panthers to 267 yards for the game. The defense also forced four turnovers in limiting Jimmy Clausen and company to 23:38 of possession time.
The Bengals offense struggled, though, as Carson Palmer completed just 19-of-37 passes for 195 yards and two interceptions. Cincinnati, which produced 305 total yards in the win over Carolina, presently ranks 15th in the league with a 328.7 yards per game average.
Browns Breakdown: Cleveland remained competitive for a third consecutive weekend, but it also remained winless after falling 17-24 at Baltimore. The Browns, surprisingly, ran roughshod over the Ravens vaunted defense as running back Peyton Hillis rushed for 144 yards on 22 carries. Quarterback Seneca Wallace also showed well, rebounding from a sub-par performance against Kansas City by completing 18-of-24 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown.
Cleveland's defense could not contain Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin, though, as the pair connected eight times for 142 yards and three touchdowns.
The prospect of an 0-4 start seems likely for Eric Mangini's squad, which has lost eight of its last 10 against the Bengals, including three in a row by an average of 8.6 points per game.
NFL Picks Betting Trend: The Bengals are 5-1 straight up but 2-4 against the spread in their last six games as a favorite against the Browns with a spread between 0 and 3.5 (Under 5-1).
