Indianapolis Colts vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Spreads Monday Night Football Game 2011 Indianapolis (0-3) lost 20-23, at home, to Pittsburgh in Week 3. Five Colts starters, including Manning, were inactive. They lost backup QB Kerry Collins to a possible concussion that could keep him out of tonight’s game. Collins' exit early in the fourth quarter pinned the Colts' hopes on Curtis Painter, who entered with a career quarterback rating of 9.8. But he nearly pulled it off. Collins was 13 of 29 for 93 yards but just 3 of 9 in the second half. Painter was 5 of 11 for 60 yards with a 62.7 rating and led Indy to the most meaningful offensive touchdown of the season. Joseph Addai carried 17 times for 86 yards and had a touchdown. The Colts' offensive line is considered below-average, at best. It's a unit the young Bucs can take advantage of if they play with the same intensity as a week ago against the Falcons. Getting young players to perform at the same level from week to week can be a challenge. Linemen Gerald McCoy, Brian Price and Adrian Clayborn are starting to show why they were priorities on draft day. Another big day will not only help stymie the Colts, but also create some game-altering takeaway opportunities. The Colts aren't getting very good play from their quarterbacks, so likely will lean heavily on Addai in an effort to test the Bucs' young defensive front.

Tampa Bay (2-1) ended three years of frustration against the Atlanta Falcons with a 16-13 home win, in Week 3. QB Josh Freeman completed 22 of 32 passes for 180 yards with two interceptions. He rushed for 35 yards on 10 attempts. RB LaGarrette Blount had 24 carries for 81 yards, while WR Mike Williams made five catches for 43 yards. Tampa Bay's defense forced three turnovers and sacked Matt Ryan four times in their best performance of the season. Tampa Bay has scored just three touchdowns in 11 red-zone opportunities, a 27.3 percent success rate that ranks 31st in the league. That is not a winning formula. In a league where scoring is up and defenses are struggling, the Bucs have to take advantage of scoring opportunities. Freeman's shaky decision making has been part of the problem, but Tampa Bay also has struggled at times to run the ball inside the 20. The offense has to display more urgency deep inside the opponent's territory. Addai can be an effective runner and pass catcher, so the Bucs have to rally to the ball and be sure in their tackling.
