Bills Breakdown: Buffalo finds itself at 1-2 after having played two of the better teams in the league as well as one of the worst. Last week the Bills ran into the Saints at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo, and the result was an ugly 27-7 loss. Dick Jauron's squad produced a meager 243 yards, 13 first downs, and just two third down conversions. Quarterback Trent Edwards completed 20-of-35 passes for 156 yards and a pick; he was also sacked four times in the loss. Wide receiver Terrell Owens went without a catch, breaking a streak of 185 consecutive games where he snagged at least one ball.

The Bills defense managed to keep the Saints passing game in check, New Orleans threw for just 156 yards, but the same could not be said in regard to the rushing attack. New Orleans piled up 222 rush yards in the easy win. 

Dolphins Breakdown: Miami had bad and worse news last week in San Diego, the bad being another loss and the worse being a season ending injury to quarterback Chad Pennington. The Chargers got the better of the Fins 23-13 thanks, in part, to a pick six thrown by Pennington's replacement, Chad Henne, in the fourth quarter. Henne, who will be the Dolphins starter — barring injury or poor performance — for the remainder of the season, finished the game 10-of-19 for 92 yards.

Miami's ground game showed well again, cranking out 149 yards. Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams combinded for 130 yards in 26 carries.

San Diego accumulated 355 yards against the Dolphins, but Tony Sparano's troops held the Chargers to just one score in six red zone appearances.
