Without him, several matchups and overall strategy swings in Oakland's favour. With him, Houston is able to maintain better balance and stretch the field. Without Johnson on the field, teams can be at ease dragging an extra defender toward the line to better match up with Foster. The Texans lack outside receiving threats who can win in man coverage, and the Raiders have diverse, physical personnel up front to push QB Matt Schaub out of his comfort zone in the pocket.
