Tennessee (3-1, 1-1 V) thumped the Cleveland Browns 31-13, on the road, in Week 4 for their third straight win under first-year coach Mike Munchak. QB Matt Hasselbeck picked apart Cleveland's secondary in the opening half, throwing for 194 yards while helping the Titans build a 21-6 lead. Hasselbeck finished 10 of 20 for 220 yards with three touchdowns. RB Chris Johnson finally broke out of his early season funk, rushing 23 times for 101 yards, three more than his total in three games. Johnson was glad to finally contribute to an offense Hasselbeck has humming. "Of all the quarterbacks I've played with, he's most like a coach on the field," Johnson said. Hasselbeck is arguably off to the best start of his career. His season totals include 1,152 yards, eight touchdowns, three interceptions and a passer rating of 104.7. The yardage total ranks second in franchise history through the first four games of a season, trailing only Warren Moon’s 1,344 yards in Weeks 1¬–4 of 1990. Hasselbeck also has more touchdown passes through the first four weeks of 2011 than at the same point in any other season in his 13-year career. Two of the NFL’s top defenses entering Week 5 will be on display. The Titans rank first in the NFL in scoring defense (14.0 points per game by opponents), first in opponents’ yards per play (4.36) and seventh in overall defense (299.8 yards per contest). No team has scored more than 16 points this season against the Titans.
Pittsburgh (2-2, 1-0 H) lost in Houston 10-17, in Week 4, and lost RB Rashard Mendenhall (hamstring), LB James Harrison (eye) and DE Aaron Smith (foot) during the game. QB Ben Roethlisberger completed 16 of 30 passes for 206 yards and was beat up all day, getting sacked five times behind an offensive line missing two regular starters. Roethlisberger has been sacked 14 times this season. Now Roethlisberger is listed as questionable after he hurt his left foot. The quarterback underwent an MRI on his left foot Monday and his status for Sunday's game remains uncertain. If he plays — and Roethlisberger insists he will do everything in his power to be on the field — it won't be the first time he has given it a go with a bad wheel. He played the second half of the 2010 season with a broken bone in his right foot and managed to lead Pittsburgh to the AFC title. Pittsburgh certainly needs him under center. If Roethlisberger can't start, then 36-year-old Charlie Batch would get the nod against the Titans. The Steelers are second in total defense (277.0 yards per game) and fifth in scoring defense (18.0 points per game). Get $50 in Free NFL Picks here.
