Painter was sacked four times and lost one fumble as injuries mounted on an already battered offensive line. He was under frequent duress during the second half. Coach Jim Caldwell said Tuesday that he hasn't decided if Painter or Kerry Collins will start Sunday. Defensive tackle Eric Foster on Tuesday morning had surgery on the dislocated right ankle he suffered during the second quarter and is out for the season. It was a punch in the gut for his teammates.
