Green Bay (4-0, 2-0 V) got a 49-23, home win, over the Denver Broncos in Week 4. QB Aaron Rodgers threw for a career-high 408 yards, tied a personal best with four touchdown passes and ran for two more scores. CB Charles Woodson ran an interception back for a touchdown for the Packers, who join resurgent NFC North rivals Detroit as the only undefeated teams left in the NFL. The Pack enter this game with one of the best passing offenses in the league (319ypg), a solid ground game (109ypg)and a relentless rush defense (71ypg), the Packers are scary for any team. To a Falcons squad that has stumbled out of the gate and has struggled to get its offense going for an entire game behind a leaky offensive line, this is a many-toothed dragon of an opponent. Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the game today, a disciplined gunslinger with a plethora of weapons at his disposal. Behind a decent offensive line, which he has, Rodgers is about as dangerous a player as there is the NFL. The Falcons will have to pull out all the stops to beat Rodgers. That means a more effective pass rush, for starters. It will definitely help to have Jonathan Babineaux back in the middle, and John Abraham will be amped to play the Packers again. You follow that up by clamping down hard on defense, not letting him beat you underneath, and by having a linebacker keep an eye on Rodgers whenever possible.
Atlanta (2-2, 1-0 H) got a 30-28, road win, over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 4. QB Matt Ryan threw for 291 yards and a touchdown and came up with key scrambles all day to keep Atlanta's offense moving. RB Michael Turner had touchdown runs of 21 and one yards, while TE Tony Gonzalez caught a one-yard touchdown pass on Atlanta's opening possession. Rookie Julio Jones caught 11 passes for 127 yards. The Falcons will have a big test to determine just where they stand in the NFC. Through four games, the offense hasn't looked great at all times, but some players have excelled more than others. Julio Jones was expected to do big things for the Falcons this season, and through four games, he has been the leader of a Falcons receiving core that is also home to Roddy White. So far this season, Jones has 24 catches for 342 yards, but is yet to get in the end zone. He has taken part in the longest passing play of the season for the Falcons, and also leads the team with the most yards after the catch. CB Dunta Robinson hasn't had the best start to the 2011 season, making just 16 tackles with no interceptions. The team has been giving up big play after big play, and part of the reason is Robinson and his struggles. If he’s not on the ball, Aaron Rogers will pick him apart. A season ago, Ryan had the best year of his brief career, which included throwing just nine interceptions. Through four games this season, he already has four picks and has lost three fumbles. He has done a good job of getting the Falcons down the field, but turnovers have hurt them countless times. Get $50 in Free NFL Picks here.
