the New Meadowlands Stadium. The offense played well in the victory, despite three lost fumbles, accounting for 372 total yards, including 189 on the ground. Eli Manning completed 18-of-30 passes for 195 yards while Ahmad Bradshaw, who is listed as questionable for today game, rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.
New York's defense stole the show, though, limiting Chicago to six first downs and 110 yards. The Giants also forced three turnovers, sacked Jay Cutler nine times, and held the Bears to 0-for-13 on third down.
Texans Breakdown: Houston rebounded from its 27-13 home loss to the Cowboys by taking out the Raiders 31-24 in Oakland last weekend. The seven point win, which kept the Texans in sole possession of first place in the AFC South, saw quarterback Matt Schaub complete 16 of his 29 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns and the league's leading rusher, Arian Foster, pound out 131 yards on 16 carries.
Houston's defense, which ranks dead last in the NFL in yards per game allowed (408), gave up 24 first downs and 363 yards to the Raiders. The Texans also saw Oakland convert on all three of its trips inside the red zone.
The beleaguered unit will receive some welcome help this week, though, as second year linebacker Brian Cushing returns from a four week suspension.
