Their two point conversion failed, leading to their loss.
 
The San Francisco 49ers met up with the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta last week. The game was close, but the 49ers lost to the Falcons 16-14. Frank Gore had top honors for rushing with 137 total yards, 77 rushing yards on 21 carries. He also had 60 yards receiving with 7 catches for the day. The 49ers are all the talk of being the best team in the NFC West, but have yet to put a W in the win column. Safety Michael Lewis didn’t play the game last week.  He missed practice on the Friday before because of personal reasons.  He also has reportedly demanded a trade. What’s up with that?
