Chargers Breakdown: San Diego earned its second dominating win of the season last weekend, thumping the Cardinals 
41-10 at Qualcomm Stadium. The Chargers, which stand at 2-2 and tied with the Broncos for second place in the AFC West, also blasted the Jaguars at home in week two by a score of 38-13. Norv Turner's squad has not fared as well outside of San Diego, though, losing its two road games by a combined 14 points.
San Diego's offense has been in top form, for the most part, on the road, amassing 907 total yards in losses at Kansas City and at Seattle; however, the team was plagued by horrible special teams play in those setbacks. The Chargers yielded a punt return touchdown to KC in the season opener and two kikcoff return touchdowns to the Seahawks.
If they can avoid those kind of mistakes today, San Diego should be the even more mistake prone Raiders.
Raiders Breakdown: Oakland, which could easily be 3-1, fell to 1-3 last weekend with a 24-31 loss at home to the Texans. The Raiders defense gave up 21 first downs and 441 yards (249 on the ground) to Houston, but still had a chance to win the game after going 3-for-3 in the red zone.
Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski cost the team, though, as he threw two interceptions and lost one fumble, helping the Texans finsih +3 in turnover margin for the game.
The error filled loss came on the heels of a 23-24 setback at Arizona, which featured three missed field goals for kicker Sebastian Janikowski.
Oakland, which ranks sixth in the league in rushing (140 ypg), will be without Darren McFadden today. McFadden suffered a hamstring injury against Houston, opening an opportunity for Michael Bush to get his first start of the season this afternoon.
