The Chiefs offense sputtered its way to 193 yards and 15 first downs in the loss as quarterback Matt Cassel completed 15-of-32 passes for 127 yards. Cassel did, however, throw two touchdown passes. On the season, Kansas City's beleaguered unit is averaging 16 points and 246.5 yards per contest. The Chiefs defense got rung up for 21 first downs and 429 yards by one of the league's more efficient offenses. The group did hold New York to just one score in four red zone appearances and they created two turnovers, but that was about all that went their way.
