Houston Texans vs Arizona Cardinals NFL Predictions, NFL Odds & NFL Picks: The Houston Texans are in Glendale Arizona today to meet the Arizona Cardinals. The Texans need a win to stay in the AFC South race with the Colts and the Cardinals need a victory to even their record at 2-2. The game is set to kickoff at 4:15pm ET at University of Phoenix Stadium; the game will be broadcast live on CBS. NFL Predictions at Bookmaker.com have the Cardinals listed as a -5.5 against the spread home favorite.

Texans Breakdown: Houston evened their record at 2-2 last Sunday, beating the Raiders 29-6 at Reliant Stadium. The Houston Texans vs Arizona Cardinals NFL Predictions, Odds & PicksTexans dominated the game from the opening kick, despite a pedestrian performance from their offense. The team had just 16 first downs, 329 total yards, a 2.9 yards per carry, and one score in five red zone opportunities. Matt Schaub completed 11-of-22 for 224 yards, a touchdown, and an interception while Steve Slaton led the team in rushing with 65 yards. However, Houston's defense, in an ironic twist, played brilliantly.

The Texans defense held Oakland to just eight first downs, 165 yards, and two third down conversions. The unit also had three sacks, nine quarterback hits, six tackles for loss, and a safety.

Houston also scored a special teams touchdown on a 95 yard kickoff return in the second half by the always dangerous Jacoby Jones.

Cardinals Breakdown: Arizona had their bye last week, and they certainly needed some time to reflect after the 31-10 pounding the Colts put on them at home on September 27th. The Cardinals did have some late offense in the game, accumulating 21 first downs and 299 pass yards, but it was not near enough to catch Indy. Quarterback Kurt Warner completed 30-of-52 passes for 332 yards and a touchdown, but he also tossed two picks. In Warner's defense, he was harassed all night, getting sacked four times and hit 10 others.

Arizona's defense got embarassed by Indianapolis, giving up 505 yards and 22 first downs. The Cardinals could do nothing to slow down Peyton Manning as the future Hall of Famer threw for 379 yards and four touchdowns.

The loss dropped Arizona to 1-2 overall, but the team still find itself in second place in the NFC West (two games back of the Forty-Niners).

NFL Predictions Betting Trend: The Over is 8-2 in the Texans last 10 games as a road dog with a spread between 4 and 7.5.
