The Browns (1-4) lost to Atlanta 10-20, at home. QB Seneca Wallace made 11 of 15 passes for 139 yards with a TD before his ankle injury. Backup QB Jake Delhomme made 13 of 23 passes for 97 yards with two interceptions. RB Peyton Hillis had an off day rushing with 10 carries for 28 yards, but receiving he had four catches for 49 yards with a TD. WR Mohamed Massaquoi was top receiver with five catches for 55 yards. QB Wallace is doubtful for their game against the Steelers. They were getting offense with Wallace and it’s not looking good with backup QB Delhomme at the helm. Wallace had 693 yards passing with four TD’s and two interceptions in five starts. Delhomme has 324 yards passing with one TD and a horrible four interceptions. He’s so bad we might see Colt McCoy get a shot. Browns president Mike Holmgren and head coach Eric Mangini, have said they expect McCoy, a third-round pick, to sit at least one year to learn from the sidelines. But very little has gone according to plan for the struggling Browns, and now McCoy looks to get the nod just six weeks into the season.  If McCoy is viewed as the future of the Browns, they must be very careful about the long-term impact of this decision. Throwing QB Colt McCoy out there at Heinz Field against Dick LeBeau's defense is a recipe for disaster . In fact, it's the last defense I would pick a rookie quarterback to face in his first NFL start, especially against a hungry Steelers' defense coming off a bye week.

The Steelers (3-1) lost to Baltimore 14-17, at home, and sat out Week 5 with a BYE. Against the Ravens QB Charlie Batch completed 12 of 21 for 141 yards with an interception.  RB Rashard Mendenhall had a high 25 carries for a low 79 yards, but had two TD’s. Their top WR Antwaan Randle El had two catches for 50 yards. Their defense had one sack; one interception and gave up a high 250 pass yards to the Ravens. The Steelers franchise QB Ben Roethlisberger is officially back, he was reinstated by the NFL Monday following a four-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy. "One of the worst parts about it is that I love football and I miss that more than anything. But to be away from my guys, my brothers, my family, that was one of the worst parts and that's what made coming here today so great," Roethlisberger said. Roethlisberger said he worked on his game during his suspension and said his arm is ready and would be ready to play on Sunday if the schedule called for it. "I worked out a lot. I worked out for two, two and a half hours. I worked out more than I would and threw more balls than I would have here. I worked with a quarterbacks coach on footwork, technique, film, things like that," he said. The Steelers are playing great football on offense, defense and special teams. Their offense is ranked 29th overall (269ypg) with the leagues worst pass game (136ypg) and an eighth ranked running game (133ypg). They’ll be up against the Browns 21st ranked defense (343ypg), 18th ranked pass rush (223ypg) and 23rd ranked rush defense (120ypg).

The Bottom Line: If the Browns had QB Wallace in the lineup I’d go with the Browns to cover, but with rookie McCoy they’ll get crushed.
