Top 3 NFL Week 6 matchups: Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings (-3)(O/U-43.5) It’s the battle of quarterbacks this week as QB Bret Favre and QB Joe Flacco look to the skies. Favre has thrown for 1,069 yards with nine TD passes with two interceptions, while Flacco has 1,289 yards passing with nine TD passes and five interceptions. Baltimore has the fifth best offense with a 10th ranked passing game and sixth ranked running game. Minnesota has a 19th ranked offense with a 17th ranked passing game and 11th ranked running game. Defense will be the top priority for these two teams. The Ravens are more dominant with a 10th ranked defense and a fourth ranked rush defense that will be trying to slow down Vikings top RB Adrian Peterson. However, the Vikings on defense will have to be on the ball with their 18th ranked pass defense. NY Giants at New Orleans Saints (-3)(O/U-47.5) Two of the best quarterbacks square off as QB Eli Manning and QB Drew Brees do battle. Manning has thrown for 1,212 yards with 10 TD passes and two interceptions, while Brees has 1,031 passing yards with nine TD passes and two interceptions. The Giants will put their second ranked offense up against the Saints sixth ranked defense. The Saints have the second best running game that will be utilized against the Giants 15th ranked rush defense. However, the Giants are the best team against the pass and the Saints will be tested with their 11th ranked pass game. Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers (-4)(O/U-44) Broncos believe in QB Kyle Orton who has thrown for 1,236 yards with seven TD passes and one interception, while Chargers QB Phillip Rivers has been shaky with 1,245 pass yards, six TD passes and three interceptions. The Chargers are known for their pass game, but that will be tested against the Broncos second ranked defense that is fifth against the pass and sixth against the rush. As for the Broncos offense, they are getting it. They are sixth overall with a 15th ranked passing game and fifth ranked running game. The Chargers have two of the better runningbacks, but aren’t getting them yards, they are 32nd at running and mostly go to the air with their second ranked passing game. As for defense, they aren’t getting that either.
