San Diego Chargers (3-3) at Buffalo Bills (4-1)
The Bills are coming off their bye week after they were handed their first loss back in Week 5 to the Cardinals. QB Trent Edwards left Week 5 game with a minor concussion and he’s expected to be ready for action against the Chargers. QB Edwards has four touchdown passes for 948 yards with two interceptions in four starts. The Bills are averaging 25.2 ppg and they give up an average 20.8 ppg. At home they average 29 ppg and they give up 16.5 ppg. Their overall offense is ranked 18th in the league thanks to their 13th ranked passing game. Their overall defense is ranked 9th in the league thanks to their 8th ranked pass defense. The Chargers beat the Patriots at home in Week 6 action. They are 1-2 SU on the road where they average 25.3 ppg and they give up an average 24.7 ppg. QB Phillip Rivers has 14 touchdown passes for 1,489 yards with four interceptions in six starts. WR Chris Chambers is still listed as questionable with a leg injury; he has five touchdowns for the Chargers. Minnesota Vikings (3-3) at Chicago Bears (3-3)
The Vikings are riding a two game win streak after they beat the Lions at home in Week 6. QB Gus Frerotte now has three touchdown passes for 988 yards and three interceptions in four starts. WR Bernard Berrian and WR Sidney Rice both were injured last week and aren’t sure if they’ll be ready in Week 7, they’ve combined for five touchdowns. The Vikings are averaging 18.8 ppg and they give up an average 19.8 ppg. On the road they are 1-2 SU where they average 22 ppg and they allow 27 ppg. Their overall offense is ranked 15th in the league thanks to their 9th ranked running game. Their overall defense is ranked 7th in the league thanks to their 4th ranked rush defense. The Bears lost on the road to the Falcons in Week 6 action. Four of the last six games have been on the road, they’ll be glad to be at home this week. QB Kyle Orton has eight touchdown passes for 1,386 yards and four interceptions in six starts. The Bears are averaging 24.7 ppg and they give up an average 18.2 ppg. At home they are 1-1 SU where they average 24 ppg and give up 23.5 ppg. Their overall offense is ranked 13th in the league with their 12th ranked running and passing game. Their overall defense is ranked 12th in the league thanks to their 5th ranked rush defense. Dallas Cowboys (4-2) at St.Louis Rams (1-4)
The Cowboys lost to the Cardinals on the road in Week 6, and they also lost QB Tony Romo to a broken pinky finger. He’s expected to be out for four weeks. QB Marc Bulger has two touchdown passes for 655 yards and two interceptions in four starts. The Rams are 0-2 SU at home where they’ve averaged 13.5 ppg and they’ve given up a whopping 36 ppg. Their overall offense is ranked 31st in the league with their 29th ranked running game and 28th ranked passing game. The Colts are riding a two game win streak after they demolished the Ravens at home in Week 6.
