Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Week 6 PredictionsThe Browns (1-4) won in Buffalo 6-3 in Week 5 and now sit dead last in the AFC North. QB Derek Anderson made 2 of 17 passes for a low 23 yards with one interception; overall he’s thrown for . He’s coming off one of his worst statistical game of his career. Their top RB Jamal Lewis had 31 carries for 117 yards, while WR Mohamed Massaquoi made one catch for 16 yards. The Browns offense generated 171 yards rushing and a pitiful 23 yards in the air. The Browns offense isn’t going to have much of a chance against the defending champion Steelers . Their so called offense is ranked 31st overall, their passing game sits 31st but their running game, led by Jamal Lewis, is ranked 16th. As for defense they are ranked 29th overall, but surprisingly they can defend against the pass with their ninth ranked pass defense. But against the Steelers, I don’t think so.

The Steelers (3-2) won in Detroit 28-20 in Week 5 and sit in third in the AFC North. QB Ben Roethlisberger made 23 of 30 passes for 277 yards with three TD passes and one interception; overall he’s thrown for . Their top RB Rashard Mendenhall had 15 carries for 77 yards with a TD. WR Hines Ward made seven catches for 85 yards with a TD, while TE Heath Miller and WR Mike Wallace each added a TD. Pittsburgh's Pro Bowl safety has not played since he suffered a knee injury in Week 1. His absence has had an impact on a Steelers pass defense that has slipped to 14th. He returned to practice this week and is expected to play against the Browns. QB Roethlisberger has stepped up his duties at the helm improving his pass percentage. Last season he had an impressive 62.4% completion rate, through five games he leads the league with a 73.8 completion percentage and is second in the AFC with 1,470 passing yards. This week he goes against a Cleveland passing defense that has played better in recent weeks and ranks 10th. Now is the time for the Steelers to improve on their 21st ranked running game. On an injury note, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said during his Tuesday news conference that Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu (knee) and tailback Willie Parker (toe) are expected to return for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Both players have missed a combined six games this season. Tomlin noted starting defensive end Aaron Smith has a shoulder injury, Smith is one of the most important players in Pittsburgh’s 3-4 defense and will be hard to replace if he misses time.
