The Rams (0-5) lost to Minnesota 10-38 at home in Week 5 and sit dead last in the NFC West. QB Kyle Boller made 20 of 31 passes for 209 yards with one interception, while QB Mark Bulger made 7 of 7 passes for 88 yards with one TD pass. Boller and Bulger have a combined four TD passes and three interceptions and both are listed as questionable for Sunday . RB Steven Jackson had 21 carries for 84 yards, while WR Donnie Avery made five catches for 87 yards with a TD. RB Steven Jackson has averaged 123.8 yards from scrimmage per game since 2006, which is tops in the NFL. The Rams offense isn’t getting any better with two troubled quarterbacks. Kyle Boller failed to energize the Rams' offense in his two-game stint as a starter and now Bulger returns after sitting out with a shoulder injury. While Bulger is far from a superstar at this point in his career, he has taken better care of the ball than Boller, with just one turnover in four games, compared to Boller's five turnovers in three games. Rashean Mathis has been known for his playmaking ability and coverage skills. While he does have one interception this year, he has failed to generate many big plays in 2009 and struggled to tackle or cover in last week's loss to Seattle. He must pick up his play against a Rams passing offense that ranks 27th. The Rams average 6.8ppg and give up 29.6ppg, while they average 2.3ppg on the road and allow 24ppg. They are 1-4 ATS and 2-3 over/under.

The Jaguars (2-3) lost in Seattle 0-41 in Week 5 and now sit second in the AFC South. QB David Garrard made 18 of 31 passes for 188 yards; overall he’s thrown for 1,129 yards with five TD passes and one interception. RB Maurice Jones-Drew had 12 carries for 34 yards, while WR Torry Holt made seven catches for 95 yards. The Jags were penalized nine times for 73 yards thanks to Seattle’s 12th man. WR Sims-Walker is expected back this week after he was inactivated last week because of breaking a team rule. The third-year wideout was one of the hottest receivers in the league entering Week 5, having caught 19 passes for 278 yards and three touchdowns in his past three outings. The Jags offense is currently ranked 20th overall, while their passing game sits 18th and running game sits 13th. As for defense they sit 30th overall struggling against the pass and 18th against the rush. The Jags average 19.4ppg and give up 25.4ppg, while averaging 27ppg at home and allow 24ppg. They are 3-2 ATS and 3-2 over/under.
