And like San Diego, they catch a team on the rise as the Giants have won three straight coming into Monday night's shootout in Dallas. A win could salvage what has been a horribly disappointing start to the season for the Pokes, improving them to 2-4 on the year and putting them in position to make a run in the tightly contested NFC East. A loss and Dallas can almost certainly scrap its postseason plans and Wade Phillips can assure his dismissal at season's end. New York, on the hand, will be sitting at 5-2 with a win and in the driver's seat for its second division title in the last three years.
