The Vikings (6-0) beat Baltimore 33-31 at home in Week 6 and still sit atop the NFC North. QB Bret Favre made 21 of 29 passes for 278 yards with three TD passes; overall he’s thrown for 1,347 yards with 12 TD passes and two interceptions. RB Adrian Peterson had 22 carries for 143 yards, while top WR Sidney Rice made six catches for 176 yards. TE Visanthe Shiancoe made four catches for 48 yards with two TD’s, while WR Bernard Berrian added a TD. The Vikings were outpassed by the Ravens, but not on the ground. RB Adrian Peterson tweaked his ankle last game and is listed as questionable on Sunday. One of the league's most successful and respected defenses was shredded by Baltimore last week, especially in the fourth quarter. The Vikings gave up 448 yards in the game and allowed the Ravens to score 21 points in the final 10 minutes. They need to solve those issues quickly against a Steelers offense that boasts the league's second-best passing attack. QB Favre has gotten his squad off to a great start, but he faces his stiffest test of the year against the Steelers and their third-ranked defense. The Steelers are ranked 12th against the pass, while Saftey Ryan Clark has an interception in his last two games. The Vikings put up the second most points per-game (31.5) in the league. QB Brett Favre aims for his fourth straight game with a 100-plus passer rating. The Vikings average 31.5ppg and give up 20.2ppg, while they average 33ppg on the road and allow 14.3ppg. They are 4-2 ATS and 5-1 over/under.

The Steelers (4-2) beat Cleveland 27-14 at home in Week 6 and now sit second in the AFC North. QB Ben Roethlisberger made 23 of 35 passes for 417 yards with two TD passes and one interception; overall he’s thrown for 1,887 yards with 10 TD passes and six interceptions. RB Rashard Mendenhall had 17 carries for 62 yards with a TD, while top WR Hines Ward made eight catches for 159 yards and a TD. WR Santonio Holmes made five catches for 104 yards and TE Heath Miller added a TD. RB Rashard Mendenhall has a sore knee but is listed as probable for Sunday. The Steelers have to work on protecting the ball better. They already have 12 turnovers and against the undefeated Vikings, such mistakes could prove costly. The Steelers have shown a more explosive offense this season that can gain yards and put up points at a much faster rate. They are currently ranked fifth best on offense with the second best passing game and a 15th ranked running game. Their 15th against the pass and they’ll have to be on their best against the Vikings QB Bret Favre. QB Ben Roethlisberger has a 9-1 record against the NFC at home and since 2007, the Steelers lead the AFC with 104 sacks. The Steelers average 23.3ppg and give up 18.7ppg, while averaging 26ppg at home and allow 17.3ppg. They are 1-5 ATS and 4-2 over/under.
