Indianapolis (0-6, 0-3 V) lost to Cincinnati 17-27, on the road, in Week 6. QB Curtis Painter rallied Indianapolis from a 20-7 deficit in the second half, getting the Colts in range for Adam Vinatieri's 52-yard field-goal try to tie with 5:38 left, but it was swatted away. Painter was 23 of 34 for 188 yards with his first interception in 115 attempts. "We're going to keep going and work for that win." Curtis Painter's 93.0 passer rating ranks No. 4 in the AFC and No. 9 in the NFL. He has just one interception on 102 pass attempts, the best ratio in the league. You gotta give the Colts offense credit for consistency. It ranks No. 28 in passing yards, rushing yards and scoring. Pat McAfee has 19 touchbacks on 25 kickoffs, excluding one onside attempt. That's 76 percent, and trails only the 87 percent of Denver's Matt Prater (20-of-23). Indianapolis has dropped each of its past five games by 10 points or fewer. RB Joseph Addai missed last week's game because of an injured right hamstring, and his status for Sunday is unclear. Rookie LT Anthony Castonzo, the team's first-round draft pick, is dealing with a sprained ankle ahead of Indianapolis' first visit to the Superdome since 2003.

New Orleans (4-2, 2-0 H) lost to Tampa Bay 20-26, on the road, in Week 6. QB Drew Brees became the first passer ever with four consecutive 350-yard games but also threw three interceptions. Brees has completed at least 20 passes in an NFL-record 26 consecutive games. The Saints had four turnovers in the game. Tampa's defense also held New Orleans under 30 points for only the second time this season and shut down New Orleans' rushing attack. TE Jimmy Graham had his best rushing game since Sept. 28, 2008, when he had 111 yards against Green Bay. The lack of takeaways is hurting the Saints. This season they have failed to play with the opportunistic flair they displayed in '09. It helps explain why the Saints aren't dominating their opponents, even with their great talent and experience. The Saints had 39 takeaways in '09 but have forced only four turnovers in six games this season. They're also well off the pace of their 2010 team, which forced 25 turnovers. New Orleans is minus-13 in turnover ratio since the start of last season, and only three teams (Denver, Jacksonville and Miami) have a worse ratio over that span. Drew Brees said it will be strange not having Coach Sean Payton to talk to on the sideline Sunday. Get $50 in Free NFL Picks here.
