Bears Breakdown: The Bears fell to 3-2 last weekend, and third place in the division, with a road loss in Atlanta. The Falcons only had the ball for a little over 26 minutes and they managed just 253 yards to Chicago's 373, but they took advantage of three turnovers and nine penalites by the Bears. Lovie Smith, no doubt, grilled his team on the importance of ball security and smart play this week, but quarterback Jay Cutler, who tossed two picks last weekend and has thrown seven this year, may not get the message. Cutler has always been a gunslinger, which can win some games but also lose them as well. He will need to be careful against Cincy, which ranks 10th in the league in interceptions.

Bengals Breakdown: Cincinnati fell to 4-2 last Sunday with a surprising 17-28 home loss to the Texans. The Bengals offense turned the ball over three times, controlled the clock for a meager 23:45, and had a paltry 14 first downs. Quarterback Carson Palmer had an effective game, completing 23-of-35 passes for 259 a touchdown and an inteception; however, the Bengals rushing attack, which is averaging 113.2 yards per game this season, did not. Former Bear Cedric Benson, who is anxious to have a go at the team that discarded him, managed just 44 yards in 16 carries. As much as Benson would like to show Chicago up this afternoon, he may have a difficult time doing it against a team that is allowing just 88.4 rush yards per game.
