Eagles vs Redskins Monday Night Football Odds: NFC East rivals Philadelphia and Washington will square off tonight at FedEX Field in Landover, Maryland. Both squads are hoping to keep pace in the division race, but a win is all but imperative for the Redskins, which currently occupy last place with a 2-4 record. Kickoff is set for 8:30pm ET on ESPN's Monday Night Football. Monday Night Football odds at Sportsbetting.com have the Eagles listed as a -7.5 against the spread road favorite.

Eagles Breakdown: Philadelphia was flying high prior to last weekend's game, sitting at 3-1 and coming off back-to-back Eagles vs Redskins Monday Night Football Oddswins, but the woeful Raiders sent them crashing to earth. Oakland, despite being -2 in the turnover department against Philly, handed the Eagles a 13-9 loss. The Raiders defense held Andy Reid's offense to 283 total yards and 14 first downs and they also kept the Eagles from converting on 14 of 16 third downs. Philly possessed the ball for 26:58 compared to 33:02 for the Raiders.

Reid should have his troops ready to go tonight, inspite of the Redskins 2-4 record.

"It's a great lesson to learn that no team is as good as you think in this league and no team is as bad as you think in this league," Reid said. "It's the National Football League and you better be ready every week to play and execute as coaches and players and it starts with me."

Redskins Breakdown: Washington also suffered a major setback last weekend as the winless Chiefs came into Landover and left with a 14-6 win. Kansas City did not exactly light up the stat page, posting just 16 first downs and 268 yards, but they outdid Jim Zorn's squad, which produced a grand total of seven first downs and 265 yards. The poor effort led Redskins brass to strip Zorn of his play calling duties in an effort to get more production from Washington's abysmal offense (13.2 points, 257.7 yards per game). That, however, is not likely to help much this evening against an Eagles defense that is allowing just 19.8 points and 282.8 yards per game this season.

"The reason I can comply with this is simply because of the lack of scoring," Zorn said. "If this has to be done this week, if this is going to be the key, I'm certainly willing to give it a try."

Monday Night Football Odds Betting Trend: Philly is 8-2 straight up and 8-2 against the spread in its last 10 games as a road favorite with a spread between 4 and 7.5.
