Perhaps the team's early struggles have led to quarterback Drew Brees troubles of late. The usually calm, cool, and collected Brees threw a combined seven interceptions in the Saints losses to the Cardinals and Browns, a tally just four shy of the 11 he tossed all of last season.
Tennessee Titans vs San Diego Chargers (-4): Every week both fans and oddsmakers seem to anticipate the Chargers getting things together, much like they did last year when they reeled off 11 straight wins after a 2-3 start. However, San Diego, after falling to 2-5 last weekend, is running out of opportunities to prove it is anything more than a losing or middle of the road team. Yes, the Chargers put up big offensive numbers and their defense ranks first in the league in yards per game allowed, but maybe this team just does not know how to win. They will test that theory, once again, against a Titans team that has proven it can close out a game, regardless of who steps in under center.
