On average, Falcons QB Matt Ryan has been sacked fewer than once per game in his short career, but the Cowboys brought him down four times and hurried him all day. The Falcons had run 143 pass plays without a sack, untill last week . The Falcons aren’t getting the offense or defense that they had last season. They were the second best team at rushing last year and this season they sit ranked 19th. Their overall offense sits ranked 19th with a 17th ranked passing game. As for defense they struggle mightily. They are ranked 25th overall with a 26th ranked pass defense and 23rd ranked rush defense. Going up against the Saints deadly high powered offense is going to prove tough. The Falcons average 24ppg and give up 19ppg, while they average 25.3ppg on the road and allow 24.3ppg. They are 4-2 ATS and 3-3 over/under.

The Saints (6-0) won in Miami 46-34 in Week 7 and still sit atop the NFC South. New Orleans' red zone efficiency was the difference in this contest. The Saints scored touchdowns on four of their five red zone trip. The Saints are going to be all over the Falcons with their sixth ranked passing game and third ranked running game . As for defense they are 11th overall with a 13th ranked pass defense and eighth ranked rush defense, that is sure to hold down the Falcons struggling offense. The  Saints continue to lead the league in takeaways with 18. They’ve intercepted 13 passes and recovered five fumbles. Atlanta ranks seventh in the league with 13 takeaways (five interceptions and eight fumble recoveries). Safety Darren Sharper has six interceptions so far and he’s sure to tack on a few more against the Falcons.
