2011 NFL Week 8 Picks: In spite of the fact that the Falcons, Bears, Packers, Jets, Raiders and Buccaneers will all be MIA due to a bye week, there still plenty of games with a lot on the line on this Sunday, 2011 NFL Week 8. The biggest game this week, in my opinion, comes to us on Sunday Night, when the (3-3) Dallas Cowboys [+3] travel to Lincoln Financial to take on the NFL Betting Odds favorites (2-4) Philadelphia Eagles [-3].
The funniest part about the NFC East is that every single one of those teams still has a very good chance at winning the division… yes, even the choking Eagles! Just think about it, if Philly can beat Dallas — which I think they will — and the Buffalo Bills take down the banged up Redskins, we could have a three-way tie for second place in the NFC East at 3-4.
Now, isn’t that crazy? The fact that as bad as the Eagles have been, they still have a very good chance to come all the way back and do what they were supposed to do before the start of the 2011 season? I’m not a Philly fan by any means, just in case you’re thinking I’m just another bum hoping on the bandwagon. Get $50 in Free NFL Picks here!
However, I do believe that the Eagles are like a sleeping giant, and all this team needed was time to check their egos at the door and develop some chemistry. I believe Sunday Night’s win over Dallas would serve as the alarm clock going off. By glancing at the Eagles schedule, I can tell you right now that they could easily have 11 wins and a division title by the time the regular season comes to an end.
