Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets NFL Picks, NFL Odds & NFL Predictions: The Miami Dolphins are in New York today to take on the AFC East rival Jets. The two teams met three weeks ago in a highly entertaining Monday night game, which the Dolphins won 31-27. This meeting is set to kickoff at 1:00pm ET at Giants Stadium (CBS). NFL Picks at SBGglobal.com have the Jets listed as a -3.5 against the spread home favorite. Dolphins Breakdown: Miami enters today's game with a 2-4 record and a last place position in the AFC East standings. Jets Breakdown: New York ended a three game slide last week, destroying the Raiders 38-0 in Oakland. The Jets looked like the team that began the season 3-0 instead of the squad that lost 13-16 at home to Buffalo. The win brought New York's record to 4-3 and positioned them in second place in the AFC East at just a game back of the 5-2 Patriots. The Jets defense will have to do a better job against the Dolphins than they did a few weeks ago if they want to hit the halfway point at 5-3, though. Miami racked up 31 points and 413 yards in dissecting the New York defense. NFL Picks Betting Trend: Miami is 2-8 straight up and 3-7 against the spread in its last 10 games as a road dog versus an AFC East foe with a total between 37 and 41. However, the Dolphins would have to be considered the best team with a losing record in the league. Miami has won two of its last three games and it has more first downs, more third down conversions, more yardage, more sacks, and a huge time of possession adavantage over its collective opposition. A win over the Jets today puts them right back in the division race, especially with winnable games against Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Buffalo coming up in the next few weeks.
