NFL Lines Week 9

by Alexander Banks on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011

NFL Lines Week 9: Injuries and personnel problems delayed and impeded a lot of NFL Lines for Week 9 to be posted. But as we hit the middle of the week, NFL Point Spreads specialists have gathered enough information to out something together. For starters, the Panthers, Lions, Jaguars and Vikings will not be in action this week due to a bye, which means there will be 14 games on the NFL Week 9 schedule.

NFL Lines Week 9Many of the late NFL Lines Week 9 are significant because many of them have implications on tiebreaks between divisional leaders. One of the game’s Week 9 lines that was just released has to do with the three-way tie in the AFC West. Currently, the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs are all knotted up at 4-3. This week, we could start seeing which of these three clubs is willing to step up and take charge of the division.

For the Bolts, who are coming off a discouraging victory last Monday Night to the Chiefs, things aren’t looking very bright. Despite the fact that they’ll be returning home, the visitor isn’t one Norv Turner will be looking forward to hosting. On Sunday at 4 PM, the Chargers [+6] welcome the undefeated, defending Super Bowl champion (7-0) Green Bay Packers [-6] to Qualcomm Stadium in SD.

For the Raiders, a bye week might be what Carson Palmer needed to make his real Silver and Black debut. After working overtime with his receivers, Palmer and the Raiders [-8½] will be hosting a struggling division rival in Tim Tebow and the (2-5) Denver Broncos [+8½].

Finally, the last team involved in this first-place triangle is the red-hot Chiefs. KC will have a great opportunity to keep pace with the Raiders, as the Chiefs [-4½] will host the winless (0-7) Miami Dolphins [+4½] on Sunday at Arrowhead. Miami is coming off a, 20-17, loss at the hands of the New York Giants last week. Get $50 in Free NFL Picks here!
