The Redskins (2-5) lost to Philadelphia 17-27 at home in Week 7 and sat out last week with a bye. Against the Eagles QB Jason Campbell made 29 of 43 passes for 284 yards with two TD passes and one interception; overall he’s thrown for 1,481 yards with eight TD passes and seven interceptions for an 85.5 passer rating. RB Clinton Portis had 14 carries for 43 yards, while WR Fred Davis made eight catches for 78 yards with a TD. WR Devin Thomas also added a TD. The Redskins managed three sacks on the day. The Redskins are still dealing with issues surrounded their coaches and lack of offense. Will coming off a bye week help the Skins find what their looking for? The Skins offense is currently ranked 24th overall with a 20th ranked pass game and a 26th ranked running game. On a good note the Skins are performing well on defense. They sit fourth overall with a third ranked pass rush, but struggle with a 22nd ranked rush defense. DE Andre Carter has 6.5 sacks while CB DeAngelo Hall has three interceptions. TE Tony Gonzalez has scored in all three of his home games this season. The Redskins average 13.7ppg and give up 17.6ppg, while they are 0-3 SU on the road where they average 16ppg and allow 20.7ppg. They are 5-2 ATS and 4-3 over/under.

The Falcons (4-3) lost in New Orleans 27-35 in Week 8 and now sit second in the NFC South. QB Matt Ryan made 19 of 42 passes for 289 yards with one TD pass and three interceptions; overall he’s thrown for 1,649 yards with 12 TD passes and nine interceptions for an 82.4 passer rating. RB Michael Turner had 20 carries for 151 yards with a TD, while WR Roddy White made four catches for 108 yards with a TD. The Falcons pulled down one interception and had two sacks on the day. QB Matt Ryan has hit a bump in the road over the past three weeks . He has thrown seven interceptions, fumbled twice and is completing only 51.8 percent of his passes over that span. It won't get any easier for the Falcons 14th ranked passing game against the Redskins' second-ranked pass defense. RE John Abraham has just one sack since Week 2 and was held without a tackle in Monday night's loss in New Orleans. If there was ever a game for him to find his groove it will be this one vs. Washington's banged-up offensive line. The Falcons offense is slipping, currently ranked 17th overall with a 14th ranked pass game and 17th ranked running game. They struggle against the pass and rush. QB Matt Ryan is 10-1 in his career at home. The Falcons average 24.4ppg and give up 21.3ppg, while they are 3-0 SU at home where they average 22.7ppg and allow 13.7ppg. They are 1-5-1 ATS and 2-5 over/under.
