Cincinnati (5-2, 3-1 V) earned their fourth straight victory with a 34-12, road win, over the Seattle Seahawks, in Week 8. QB Andy Dalton threw a pair of first-half touchdown passes and Brandon Tate returned a punt 56 yards for a touchdown. Dalton tossed touchdowns of 14 yards to Jerome Simpson and a beautiful 43-yarder that dropped into the arms of A.J. Green in the second quarter to give the Bengals a 17-3 lead. From there, the Bengals leaned on their impressive defense that bent, but managed to keep Seattle out of the end zone until the fourth quarter.

Bengals RB Cedric Benson was activated to the 53-man roster on Wednesday after serving a one-game suspension for violating the league's personal-conduct policy. He leads the Bengals with 458 yards on 117 carries this season. The Bengals should be able to run against the Titans. Tennessee has ground to a 32nd-place halt in rushing offense, averaging a league-worst 68.9 yards per game, since the offseason conflict and ultimate payday for All-Pro back Chris Johnson, who managed just 34 yards on 14 attempts last week in a 27-10 win over Indianapolis. Johnson has 302 yards in seven games, an average of just more than 43 per week. The Bengals are second in the league against the run, allowing 85.4 yards per game on the ground. Third-year man Javon Ringer has pushed Johnson recently, going for career-highs in both rushing yards (60) and receiving yards (42) against the Colts.

Tennessee (4-3, 3-1 H) kept the Colts winless by beating Indianapolis 27-10, at home, in Week 8. QB Matt Hasselbeck threw for 224 yards and a touchdown, and Nate Washington scored twice. Rob Bironas kicked field goals of 51 and 50 yards, and Jason McCourty recovered a blocked punt in the end zone as the Titans snapped a two-game skid. The Titans also sacked Curtis Painter twice and intercepted him twice, turning those turnovers into 14 points. The Colts outgained Tennessee 399-311, but couldn't overcome 10 penalties for 66 yards.

Titans players and coaches said Wednesday that they need to shut down the big plays of one Bengals rookie and disrupt the steady play of another. Although they are new to the NFL, receiver A.J. Green and quarterback Andy Dalton have emerged as a solid offensive combination. Green has provided a deep threat, and Dalton has been cool under pressure. Green leads all rookies with 33 catches, 516 yards, five touchdowns and four catches of more than 40 yards. Dalton has completed 136 of 218 passes (62.4 percent) for 1,479 yards. He’s thrown nine touchdowns against seven interceptions and has a quarterback rating of 82.7, which is better than the passer ratings of veterans Philip Rivers and Matt Ryan. After opening its season 1-2, Cincinnati has won four straight. The Bengals are seeking their first five-game win streak since 1988 when the franchise won the AFC Championship.
